Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Global Scholarship selects and supports future global talents who will contribute to the mutual development of ASEAN and Korea
1. Scholarship: Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Global Scholarship
2. Institution: Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation
3. Eligibility: International students from the eight ASEAN member states (Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos) who are newly enrolled in a postgraduate course (master, doctorial, or master-doctor combined courses) in one of the partner universities of the foundation
* Partner Universities: Korea University, Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Hanyang University, KAIST, KDI Graduate School of International Policy
- Major (support areas): Economy/management, future science and engineering industries (intelligent information technology, bio-health, and new energy industry), Korean/Korean Studies, etc.
4. Grants/ Benefits & Grant Period: Full tuition fee, study allowance of KRW 1 million per semester, settlement allowance, and graduation celebration incentive.
5. Grant Period: Until completion of the course (within the standard course duration; continuation of support will be reviewed for each semester)
6. Recipients: To be announced
7. Application Period: Twice a year (December and June)
8. Application Procedure: Recommendations from each partner university and review by the foundation
